Laminates and luxury vinyl plank ( LVT) are popular replacement for wood floors. These are very hard surfaces which resist scratching more that wooden products. Usuall method of installation is floating. This means there is no need to use fasteners or adhesives. Ideal type of floor for basements or rental properties or even main areas if you want a low budget product.

Tile and Natural Stones

They can make any space beautiful. Porcelain tile and ceramic is most commonly used. Natural stone will add even more elegance to space. Bathroom floors, basements, outside porch are good candidates for this product. Tile on shower floor and walls looks nice and make the area one of the focal points of the house.

Carpet

Carpet is a favorite floor for spaces that you like to have softer feel under foot like in baby's room or staircase. This floor is relatively cheaper compared to most hard surfaces. However some carpet styles are more expensive than wood floors! They come in many styles, colors, patterns, and width.
